Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September the 21st of September 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills as well on ABC's Lost television show. Her parents had divorced and she moved with her mom into Los Angeles. It was a struggle to get by when she got her first part in the acting world as Rachel's Room's leading character. She went on to earn an Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of the 15 year old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television movie Murder which aired in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost in which she was the main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the cast of the ensemble.
