Aisling Bea
Aisling was born March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's most successful and well-known comedians. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh (born 16th March, 1984) is a stand-up comedian and actress from Ireland. Bea started her professional career in stand-up comedy in 2011, following small parts she played for Irish and British television dramas from 2009. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing in sitcoms and sketch comedy. In 2012, she began appearing in panel shows following the win of an award from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Between 2016 and 2017 she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, in addition to being a performer in the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. Parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. She has a younger sister, Sinead. She was in 2012 the second woman to ever receive the So You Believe You're Funny award. Her surname is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh was born April 16, 1984, in Kildare Town, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who was killed after Bea turned three, was a victim of self-harm. The news of his death only at thirteen years of age. Bea chose to stage her name Bea to pay tribute to her deceased father. Bea also wrote an article published in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and an ex-professional jockey. The family was racing and horse-related. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her beginning years. She knew, however, that racing wasn't what she wanted to pursue as a profession and preferred performing.
